Whilst we were in Corpus we took a tour of the USS Lexington: a battleship used in a number of wars, WWII being one of them. It was pretty interesting - I didn't realize how self sustaining a ship is. I mean Dentist/Dr offices on board and everything. My appreciation for those serving our country in the armed forces was definately increased. The Blue Angels apparently did air shows often in Eau Claire so we grabbed a pic of Michael with one of the planes that made such an impact on his life.
We also went to the Texas State Aquarium. I was impressed with all they had in such little space. I'm also quite partial to "hands on" exhibits- We were able to touch sting ray's, pencil urchins, and hermit crabs. They also have a couple little shows which are always fun.
One of my favorite things about the beach are the beach shops. I can be such a tourist but who could resist documenting being eaten alive by a giant fake shark?
This is a pic from inside a mexican restaraunt down town SA it has this HUGE 3d mural on the wall that we love, Michael just HAD to have a pic :)

And last but certainly not least the civic turned 200,000 miles! Although its been stolen (and recovered) twice we do love our little Honda.

2009 is going to be GREAT!!!
