Don't they sell peaches in Texas?

. . . . . . . . . a question some of you may be asking. Well, yes. But, not GRANDPA'S peaches.

Getting a package in the mail is exciting. Getting a package you weren't expecting is even more exciting. Which is what happened yesterday.- I got a little (big actually) box of peaches in the mail, straight from the Wright Family Farm. Each peach was so lovingly wrapped in newspaper and packing peanuts to avoid bruising for their 14th grandchild, youngest daughter and her husband. The smell alone made my mouth water. I couldn't wait any longer and took a big bite, because fresh peaches are my favorite. Then, I cut it up and ate it like a civilized person. Rylee had a early dinner cuz I couldn't wait to see what she thought of grandpa's peaches either. She first gave a funny look like it was sour or something, smacked her lips a bunch of times and gave a big grin. I think that means she likes them.

Thanks again! (to those that got midnight calls to help pick too.) Love and miss ya!

You are so great at documenting the important events. By important I mean all the little, every day things that you never want to forget. Thanks for sharing that. I wish my kids would try a peach.
