help.

The problem with rolling and only having the ability to scoot backwards (which btw is much easier to accomplish in footed pj's on wood floor) is you can't quite see where you're going, and you can get yourself in quite the perdicament. and the harder you try to free yourself, the further stuck you get.
sometimes, life is just plain HARD.

Evening with My Michaels

(photo via google)
Since Michael introduced me to Michael Buble while we were dating, it seemed only fitting to spend our anniversary date seeing him in concert.
Notice that there is NO ONE sitting behind us - yea, we wanted to go THAT bad. :)

the 'view' from our seats. Pretty far away, but we still had an excellent time!

I learned Michael Buble is actually pretty hilarious. I love when artists kick back a little and tell stories and joke with the audience. I think he did a great job as he said "breaking down barriers" and really letting us get to know him a little bit. I've never been thanked more for buying a concert ticket! He said San Antonio was the best city of his tour so far - (maybe because EVERY seat sold) and he may have just been saying that (you never know) but you know what, I believed him.

A few favorites from the evening was him talking about his 'sketchy' hotel room down town, stating that SA is like "Disneyland for adults who love mexican food" and where else in the world can you go to starbucks and see a boat float by? love it.

When he walked through the crowd and sang on the opposite end of the floor he apologized to all those who "spent ridiculous amounts of money to sit in the front" since he's singing back here now. haha.

We even got a sitter!! (thanks again!!!)

to sum up: love me some Michael.

love

4 full years of it.

remember this:

As we were making our rounds around the temple a bus of phillipino sister missionaries pulled up. They were SO excited to see us! (of course we had no idea who they were) They were so excited- as if they had never seen a white girl in a wedding dress. They ALL wanted their pictures taken with us. I seriously felt like a celebrity (this picture doesn't quite do it justice.)

I love the temple and mountains in the back ground here. The fact that I almost died from not only happines but heat exhaustion (110 deg) and am STILL smiling. I was literally UNABLE to form my face into any other expression. Pure JOY.

We watched the wedding video(s) last night. It was so fun to re-live our day. I love him more than I did then so I'll chalk this marriage up as a success. :)

Rylee 4 months

14 lb 14 oz (79th %)
24.5 "

The Dr said anytime between now and 6 Months we can start her on rice cereal. I know she has a PHD and all, but Rylee's a baby. Baby's don't eat cereal, sorry. (I'm pretty sure this is called 'denial')

She is doing good, starting to giggle more, and likes to be 'choked':

She's fairly happy most of the time and she/we are getting better at her putting herself to sleep. She still likes her face/eyes covered (unless its her headband) and she usually accomplishes this by interlocking her fingers/fists and putting them over her eyes while rolling to her side burrying her face in the covers/bumper pads. For the most part she doesn't mind tummy time and rolls more frequently from back to belly then reversed. I think she forgets she actually CAN go the other way, and when she's done, screams. It's always a surprise where she'll be in the crib and in which direction. Gone are the days of NOT needing my glasses to go get her (she's not a big fan of me shoving her bink up her nose or poking her in the eye).

About 2-4 times a month she randomly wakes up at 4am and then again at 4:30. Don't know quite what for.

Her bald spot (and drooling) is out of control! (when can I expect new hair to grow and not disappear during nap time?) I am seriously considering cutting off the mullet.

Lately when 'standing' in our lap she'll lift one leg like a ballerina. We then exaggerate her dance moves and laugh.

She likes to sit up (in our lap/bumbo)

She still isn't showing too much interest in toys or the like but if you talk to her she'll smile and most of the time gabber right back at ya.

Her smiles melt my heart - as does watching her sleep. We're just loving up our first-time-parent moments. love that girlie.
