thirty-something

Today is Michael's Birthday! YEA! YAHOO! YIPEE!!

We don't have a lot planned since we celebrated over the weekend. . . you know: shopping, dinner {the melting pot}, movie {x-men}. Michael picked out a few items for himself, one of which was his first pair of cowboy boots! I believe he can now officially claim himself a Texan. Incase you were wondering a few minutes after they were purchased they were on his feet, and yes he also wore them to church. I may have to get myself a pair soon too.
I asked him what he wanted for dinner tonight, full on expecting to be slaving away in the kitchen all day marinating some form of animal, to which he replied "taco salad". Apparently that's his favorite and was often his birthday meal of choice growing up. I'm not complaining. . . . cuz its EASY!!

Michael, I'm so glad you were born! (you know, and grew up and met me so we could grow old together.) You work so hard for us and our family. You make me smile everyday. I love watching you with Rylee. One of my favorites is watching her when she hears you come home: her eyes light up and she stops whatever she is doing and runs as fast as she can to you. I love when she chooses you over me, odly enough it makes me love you even more.

We both love you so much, and hope your day is wonderful.

{mmm - birthday kisses}

Happy Birthday to a GREAT Bro-in-law! We love ya and can agree that we are glad you were born too. I can relate to the girl and her daddy comments-----priceless! We hope YOUR DAY has been FANTASTIC! How was the melting pot?

it was good, (michael liked it more than I did) I would have a hard time paying full price (we had a gift card) though definately unique. the dessert is the best, then the appetizer, then the entree. Also its not 'quick' which for us was nice :)

Keep your eye out for some all white cowboy boots I can't find them in Phoenix. If I am ever in San Antonio for your birthday you are getting my gift.

Happy Birthday. We thought about you and then before we knew it, it was Wednesday. Glad you have those hot boots--you are truly Texan.
